Middleby Names Leaders for its Newly Formed Coffee Solutions Group

Multiline foodservice equipment manufacturer Middleby Corp. has formed Middleby Coffee Solutions Group, which consists of its Concordia Beverage Systems, Synesso and Bloomfield lines.

Erika C headshotErika CottrellIn conjunction with forming the Middleby Coffee Solutions Group, the company made a series of personnel moves, including hiring Erika Cottrell to serve as its general manager.

Middleby veteran Korey Kohl will serve as president of Middleby Coffee Solutions Group. He joined the company’s Nieco brand in 2011 and was named president in 2014. In 2017 he was promoted to group president, leading the companies in the Middleby Beverage Group. including Wunder-Bar, Concordia Beverage Systems, Joe Tap and Bloomfield. In 2018 Kohl also assumed leadership for Follett, a Middleby company that manufacturers ice machines.

In addition, Robin Mooney was promoted to executive vice president and will lead the domestic sales efforts for the three brands in the Middleby Coffee Solutions Group. Previously she served as GM of the company’s Concordia line. Sarah Palmer will become vice president of international sales for the Middleby Coffee Solutions Group. Previously she was director of global sales and marketing at Synesso.

Prior to joining Middleby, Cottrell served as vice president of marketing in the Consumer Foods Division for The J. M. Smucker Company. She was responsible for brand strategy creation, execution, and break through innovation for iconic, trusted brands. Prior to the company’s acquisition by The J. M. Smucker Company, Cottrell was general manager of Sahale Snacks.
