Middleby Names New President of Ventless Solutions

Scott Heim has been named president of Middleby Ventless Solutions. In his new role Heim will lead the efforts of all of the Middleby commercial brands with ventless cooking solutions. His responsibilities will include sales and marketing, new product development and approvals as well as the development of training tools. Heim also will continue in his role as president of Evo America.

Heim joined Evo in 2012, where he has directed product development work in the ventless griddle, plancha and cooktop segments. Evo became part of the Middleby portfolio companies in a deal announced earlier this year.

Ventless equipment remains an emerging factor in today’s foodservice industry. This technology continues to draw the attention of foodservice operators and designers alike as they explore flexible ways to bring consumers closer to the cooking and keep menus fresh.
