BKI's line of combi ovens will include Giorik technology.
The Standex Food Service Equipment Group will distribute Giorik's Steambox line of combi ovens in the United States and the United Kingdom. This happened in conjunction with Standex International's exercising an option to purchase a 20 percent equity stake in Giorik S.p.A., a Venice, Italy-based foodservice equipment manufacturer.
In addition, BKI-Worldwide, a division of the Standex Food Service Group, will incorporate the Giorik product line and technology in its CombiKing line of combi ovens. Standex plans to introduce these new products at the upcoming National Restaurant Association Show, which takes place May 5-8 at Chicago's McCormick Place.
