Daily also joins company as senior vice president of retail.
To better align its restaurant and retail operations under central leadership, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBRL) has restructured its field organization. Nicholas Flanagan, the company's senior vice president of operations, now has direct responsibility for both restaurant and retail operations.
The restructuring of the field organization and related changes in the company's home office have also resulted in the elimination of approximately 20 positions. As a result of these changes, Cracker Barrel expects to realize a pre-tax savings of $5 million, according to a company statement.
In a related move, Laura Daily was appointed senior vice president of retail for Cracker Barrel, effective May 7. Daily will have responsibility for all aspects of the company's retail merchandising, planning and allocation functions, reporting to Sandra Cochran, Cracker Barrel's president and chief executive officer.
