Trungale steps aside after eight years with the family dining chain.

Perkins & Marie Callender's, a chain restaurant in the family dining segment, selected Jeffrey Warne to serve as its chief executive officer effective April 9, 2012. He will replace Joseph "Jay" Trungale, who will step down as Perkins & Marie Callender's CEO after eight years with the company.

A chain restaurant industry veteran of more than 13 years, Warne's previous experience includes serving as the president and CEO of O'Charley's Inc. and in a leadership capacity with Carlson Companies, Inc., including president and COO of Pick Up Stix, executive vice president and COO of TGI Friday's International, and CFO of Carlson Restaurants Worldwide.
