Washington and Shields take on newly created positions.
As part of a plan to better leverage management capabilities across the company, Jamba, Inc., (NASDAQ:JMBA) announced several management changes.
Julie Washington was appointed to the newly created position of senior vice president and chief brand officer. Susan Shields was named to the newly created position of senior vice president and chief innovation officer.
Washington, formerly Jamba's senior vice president and general manager of consumer products, will continue to guide the company's global consumer products platform, including the recently acquired Talbott Teas.
Formerly Jamba's senior vice president and chief marketing officer, Shields will focus on the acceleration of the company's product innovation, including the fresh juice and juicing categories. She will also support marketing efforts for Jamba's international portfolio.
