Chain begins search for new President and CEO

The board of directors for Cosi, Inc. (NASDAQ:COSI), a fast-casual restaurant chain, appointed Chairman of the Board Mark Demilio interim chief executive officer of the company. This decision came in response to the resignation of James Hyatt, who resigned from the dual post of president and CEO, effective immediately, citing family reasons and to pursue another opportunity.

In addition, the Cosi board of directors has formed a search committee to oversee the process of identifying Hyatt's successor.
