Chain Operating Report for July 26

DineEquity, Inc. (NYSE:DIN), the parent company of Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar and IHOP, has signed a multi-restaurant franchise agreement with AMECO Foods for the development of ten new Applebee's restaurants in Egypt.

Burger King has added BK Minis, a line of miniature burger and chicken sandwiches, to its menu nationwide. The BK Minis are available in four, eight and 12 packs.

As part of the chain's plan to grow its number of international locations to more than 700 in the next five years, CKE Restaurants opened the Carl's Jr. Restaurant in Auckland, New Zealand. Operating this restaurant is Forsgren NZ Limited, a family business owned by Barry Forsgren and his brother-in-law Michael Jones, former star of New Zealand's national rugby team All Blacks.

Domino's Pizza, Inc. (NYSE:DPZ) reported domestic same store sales increased by 4.8 percent for the second quarter of its 2011 fiscal year. Sales at Domino's international units increased 7.4 percent in the second quarter.

For its second fiscal quarter ending June 30, 2011, McDonald's reported global comparable sales increased 5.6 percent, with the U.S. up 4.5 percent, Europe up 5.9 percent and Asia/Pacific, Middle East and Africa up 5.2 percent.

Frisch's Restaurants, Inc. reported record sales of $303 million for its 2011 fiscal year ending May 31. This represents a 3.6 percent increase in sales while net profits declined 5.3 percent compared to last year.
