Atlanta-based Cinnabon, the quick-service chain known for its rich and gooey cinnamon rolls, continues to test a bakery-café concept in its Houston market.
Cinnabon hopes this transition will make the restaurant chain even more convenient to existing customers and attract new ones by increasing sales in other dayparts through the addition of new breakfast and lunch items and expansion of its coffee program.
The new breakfast menu includes egg-based sandwiches with cheese and sausage or bacon, muffins, hash browns and juices. The lunch portion of the menu will include panini sandwiches made with smoked turkey, Black Angus roast beef or Black Forest ham. In addition, the expanded coffee program will include specialty espresso drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos and iced coffees.
