Multiline foodservice equipment manufacturer Middleby has formed a business unit around ice.
Michael RaycherMiddleby Ice Solutions includes its Follett, Icetro and Kloppenberg product lines, per a company announcement. Michael Raycher, most recently president of Follett, now serves as group president for Middleby Ice Solutions. Kevin Lien was named sr. vice president of sales and marketing for Middleby Ice Solutions.
In this role, Lien will have commercial sales responsibility for all three Middleby ice brands across all segments, both domestically and internationally. No stranger to the foodservice industry, Lien’s background includes serving as a sr. vice president of sales – Americas for Welbilt. Most recently, he served as chief growth officer for Lakeside Foods, a producer of food products for the retail, foodservice and industrial sectors.
Rounding out the leadership team at Middleby Ice Solutions is a collection of company veterans “who have played a key role in Follett’s growth over the past decade,” per a company release. They include:
- Jeff Maybruck, sr. vice president of operations/general manager
- Alex Miller, sr. vice president of finance and IT
- Jon Davis, sr. vice president of people strategy and customer experience
- Tina Burley, sr. vice president of supply chain
Middleby Ice Solutions’ customer base includes businesses in the foodservice, healthcare, workplace and institutional segments worldwide. The group offers a variety of ice and water products.
The formation of Middleby Ice Solutions will allow the multiline manufacturer to “accelerate bringing the latest innovations to the market quickly, while better serving our customers at a very high level through every part of the buying process,” said Korey Kohl, president of Middleby Beverage.
