Edward Don & Company appointed George Federighi to serve as senior designer and business development leader for its Don Build division.

Federighi’s foodservice industry career spans more than 50 years. His career began at Federighi Food Machinery Company working as a service technician, and later worked alongside his father on early warewashing prototypes and kitchen innovations, per a release announcing his hiring. In the early 1990s, he founded Federighi Design, a design-build firm that was acquired by TriMark in 2012.

Federighi “decided to formally part ways” with TriMark in June 2025, the release added. “After concluding my time with the TriMark Group, I reconnected with Charlie Fusari at Don and made the decision to join the Don Build division,” said Federighi in a statement. “I’m excited to contribute to the team and hope this represents the final chapter of my professional journey.” Fusari serves as vice president of the Don Build division.
