The Middleby Corporation has acquired Emery Thompson, a Florida-based manufacturer of batch freezers and other equipment for making frozen desserts.

Emery Thompson has annual revenues of $10 million, per a Middleby release announcing the deal.

“There are many synergies between Emery Thompson and Taylor Company, a globally recognized Middleby brand. When we bring these brands to the market together, we expect there to be opportunities for sales growth for Emery Thompson through existing Middleby market channels and partners,” said Tim FitzGerald, Middleby CEO, in a statement.
