Brian Simowitz was introduced as president of Houston TX Hot Chicken (HHC.) He most recently served as vice president of operations for Slim Chickens.

Brian SimowitzSimowitz’s background includes eight years on Applebee’s international team. He and his wife, Kelly, were also owners of several restaurant brands in Minnesota, per a release.

HHC was founded by Edmond Barseghian, who now serves as the chain’s chief marketing officer following its 2023 acquisition by Utah-based private equity firm the Savory Fund. The chain has 20 locations spread across eight states.

HHC’s menu includes hot chicken sandwiches, tenders, salads, soup, waffle shakes, and loaded fries.
