Corner Bakery Cafe promoted Erin Hasselgren to president from chief operating officer. Corner Bakery Cafe also welcomed back Becky Foulk as its corporate chef to lead the chain’s culinary strategy and menu innovation.

Foulk previously led and developed Corner Bakery Cafe’s culinary vision and menu for 13 years.

Hasselgren spent nearly two decades with the chain prior to SSCP Restaurant Investors acquiring Corner Bakery out of bankruptcy for $15 million in June of 2023. In his new role, Hasselgren will be responsible for leading the Corner Bakery Cafe's future expansion while managing day-to-day planning, direction and oversight of all activities within the organization including strategy, people and culture, sales generation and profit maximization, per a company release.

Hasselgren’s industry experience spans more than 30 years and includes working in executive roles with such chains as Cracker Barrel, Portillo’s and Burger King.
