Private Equity Firm Forms new Restaurant Platform

Scott Taylor was appointed CEO for Cherry Bounce Hospitality, a newly formed full-service restaurant concept owned by private equity firm Hargett Hunter.

lowresScott TaylorScott TaylorCherry Bounce Hospitality seeks to “support the leadership teams of the regional casual dining brands to achieve their respective growth, profitability and operational goals,” per a company release. Concepts in the Cherry Bounce Hospitality portfolio include Trudy’s Authentic Tex-Mex, Cajun Steamer Bar & Grill and Live.Eat.Surf Restaurants. In his new role, Taylor will lead these concepts and look to further develop Cherry Bounce Hospitality.

“The opportunity to successfully scale authentic, differentiated and approachable restaurant brands has never been greater,” said Jeff Brock, a founding partner and managing director at Hargett Hunter. “Part of being the preferred partner for emerging brands is providing them with resources and advantages to de-risk the challenges associated with operations and growth in our industry."

Taylor’s background includes working in executive leadership positions with such restaurant chains as Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux and Beef ‘O’Brady’s. His resume also includes a stint in foodservice at the University of Florida.
