SEFA, a dealer-based foodservice equipment and supplies buying group recognized the contributions of some of its member companies and suppliers through a series of annual awards. Specifically, SEFA named Cook’s Direct its Member of the Year and Vollrath Company its Supplier of the Year.

Jim Zink of Zink Foodservice receives SEFA’s Executive of the Year Award from Kelly Cain, SEFA’s CEO.In addition, SEFA presented Jim Zink of Zink Foodservice with its Executive of the Year Award. Zink is the first-ever manufacturers’ rep to receive this recognition. SEFA also presented Thad Smith of Sterno with its Trainer of the Year Award.

SEFA presented three dealers with its Circle of Excellence Awards: Gerharz Equipment, Sunflower/Buller Fixture Company and Boston Showcase Company. This award recognizes those companies for “significant growth and innovation."

SEFA recognized its suppliers with the following awards broken down by product category:

• Tabletop: G.E.T.
• Supplies: Cal-Mil
• Cooking: Blodgett

In addition, SEFA presented Duke Manufacturing with its Partnership Award for “providing solutions that enhance operational efficiency.”
