Mountain Mike’s Pizza promoted longtime company leader Jim Metevier to serve as chief executive officer. Metevier had served as Mountain Mike’s president and chief operating officer since 2018 and his resume includes more than 30 years in the restaurant industry.

Metevier came to Mountain Mike’s from Biscuitville, where he also served as president. His background also includes working with YUM! Brands in a variety of leadership positions including serving as president KFC U.S.

After owners Chris Britt and Ed St. Geme acquired the chain in 2017, the company has continued to evolve from a regional presence to a chain with more of a national footprint. Today, Mountain Mike’s Pizza has more has more than 300 units systemwide and continues to grow via franchising.
