Multiconcept operator FAT Brands named Ken Kuick and Rob Rosen co-CEOs, effective May 5, 2023. As previously announced, Andy Wiederhorn will step down as CEO and continue in his role as chairman of the board.
Both Kuick and Rosen joined FAT Brands in 2021 and have served as chief financial officer and executive vice president of capital markets, respectively. Both will continue in their roles while assuming the co-CEO position.
Kuick’s past roles include CFO for Noodles & Company, chief accounting officer for VICI properties and chief accounting officer for Caesars Entertainment Operating Company.
Over a career that spans more than 30 years, Rosen has held roles with such companies as Fleet Bank, Kidder Peabody, and Bank of Tokyo.
FAT Brands owns 17 restaurant chains, including Fatburger, Johnny Rockets, Fazoli’s, Twin Peaks, Hurricane Grill & Wings, Elevation Burger, Native Grill & Wings and the Ponderosa and Bonanza Steakhouses. The company franchises and owns more than 2,300 units worldwide, per a company release.
