As part of a series of executive appointments, multiconcept operator Focus Brands named Julie Younglove-Webb chief brand officer for its Auntie Anne’s chain. Focus Brands also named Jim Cannon senior vice president of design and construction and Chris Newman, senior vice president of real estate.
Younglove-Webb will lead Auntie Anne’s overall strategy and execution of both marketing and operations. She joins Focus Brands from Domino's Pizza, where she served as sr. vice president of corporate operations in the United States. Prior to her tenure at Domino's, Younglove-Webb spent 11 years at Potbelly Sandwich Works in various senior leadership positions, including chief restaurant operations officer.
Cannon will provide strategic leadership to the design and construction department in developing and managing Focus Brands’ prototypes. Over the course of his 40-plus years in the construction industry, Cannon has worked with Inspire Brands, Arby's, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and Jack in the Box.
In his new role Newman will oversee all aspects of Focus Brands' real estate strategy across all of its concepts. His restaurant industry experience includes 12 years with Jimmy John’s.
