Marra Forni appointed David Binkle, CEC, CEPC, CCA, FMP, executive chef for the Maryland-based manufacturer of commercial brick ovens.
In his new role, Binkle will support Marra Forni's sales, marketing, and ongoing product development. His primary responsibility will be the development and execution of culinary strategy, resources, educational training, and program development.
A native Canadian from the Toronto, Ontario area, Binkle’s background spans more than 35 years of culinary experience as a professional chef, pastry chef and culinary educator. He has experience working in various foodservice operator segments, including restaurants, healthcare, corporate dining and primary education. Binkle also taught culinary arts for several community colleges, the Institute for Culinary Education and was a full-time baking and pastry instructor at the Art Institute of Dallas. He most recently served as the onsite executive chef corporate research and development for Food Service Partners (FSP) at the Georgia International Food Center (GIFC) at Renaissance Park.
