Contract feeder Aramark has changed the name of its K-12 school foodservice operation to Aramark Student Nutrition.
As part of this initiative, Aramark Student Nutrition also developed a Student Nutrition Culinary Alliance that unites “11 chefs who collaborate, review school insights, and work together to benefit schools nationwide.” The Culinary Alliance will create new menus that adapt to students’ evolving tastes and will “enable career growth paths and champions Aramark’s diverse chef talent.”
In addition, Aramark Student Nutrition will roll out several other new initiatives for the 2022-2023 school year including the launch of a new middle school dining concept known as LunchPad, rolling out its Rally Café concept to more than 50 locations, exploration of RFID-enabled vending solutions for faculty and staff and the use of electronic food carts and mini food trucks to enhance delivery flexibility.
