Chartwells Higher Education has acquired Fresh Ideas, a foodservice management company based in Columbia, Mo., Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Fresh Ideas is a regional foodservice company serving clients based mostly in the Midwest, South and Southeast. The contract feeder’s client base includes colleges and universities, K-12 schools, senior living communities, and corporate dining operations.

It will continue to operate under the Fresh Ideas name as the company works with Chartwells to continue to look for opportunities to expand.
