MAFSI Presents 2022 Awards

The Manufacturers’ Agents Association for the Foodservice Industry (MAFSI) honored the accomplishments of several foodservice and organizations professionals with its biennial awards.

MAFSI’s biennial award program recognizes those individuals who have performed in an exemplary fashion and serves as recognition to ensure the future success and professionalism of the association and the industry.

Joe Anderson of Anderson Foodservice Solutions received the MAFSI Special Achievement Award, which goes to an agent member who has given significant contributions to a local region.

Chris East of CHRANE Foodservice Solutions received the Michael Posternak Pacesetter Award, which recognizes individuals who work for agent member companies and demonstrate the “highest degree of devotion and distinguished service in conjunction with MAFSI projects and activities.”

Jason Wange of Cal Mil received the Pro to Know Award, which recognizes a manufacturer sales manager who delivers stellar business outcomes for their rep partners.

Melissa Greenwald of Greenwald Sales and Marketing received the Tony Award, which recognizes a member who has consistently performed and demonstrated sincere interest, effort, and leadership and has given time to the welfare and progress of MAFSI and the enhancement of the manufacturer agents' function and position in the industry.

Unox earned the Progressive Award, in recognition of the company’s goodwill and commitment to the rep-manufacturer method of marketing, and vested interest in the development of the factory’s rep partners.

Eric Reed of Midwest Professional Reps and Michael LePage of CMA Foodservice Solutions received the Rising Stars Awards.

The Bill Loveless Chapter of the Year Award was presented to MAFSI Region 03 – New York Metro.

Mark Klosterman of Apex Commercial received the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented to someone who has been a member of the organization for at least 10 years and has contributed to the foodservice industry through significant association involvement.

Finally, Maureen Slocum and Joe Carbonara, FE&S publisher and editorial director, jointly received the MAFSI Market Mover Award, which recognizes individuals and organizations who demonstrate significant qualities that lead to the advancement of the rep function and the foodservice industry.

MAFSI presented these awards during the organization's biennial conference, which took place January 23-27 in Naples, Fla.
