Mac's Hospitality Group appointed Tony Salerno vice president of operations for the Charlotte, N.C.-based restaurant group.
Salerno’s diverse restaurant industry resume includes leadership positions with Bar Louie, Carolina Ale House and TGI Fridays. His resume also includes a stint with Red Robin Gourmet Burgers. “Tony's career has given him great insights into a host of different restaurant markets and environments,” says Shang Skipper, president of MHG.
Mac's Hospitality Group’s flagship concept is Mac's Speed Shop, which reflects the owners' interest in beer, bikes and barbecue. The company also owns four other concepts: SouthBound, which serves Southern California Mexican street food and tequila; BackStage Lounge, a modern take on the traditional speakeasy; The Music Yard, an outdoor music venue and The Studio, a self-pour taproom.
