E. Friedman Associates, a New York-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealer and operator of the CKitchen e-commerce site, has been sold to Vadim Zakusilo, the company’s longtime chief technology officer.

Zakusilo acquired the company from Elliot Friedman, company president via an earnout sale of the dealership.

Zakusilo, who has a background in computer engineering, has been with E. Friedman Associates for more than 12 years and previously worked for Lehman Brothers. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Friedman founded E. Friedman Associates in 1984.
