James “Jim” DeLuca, an account representative for TriMark, passed away Aug. 30, 2021. DeLuca was 72 years old and spent more than 30 years in the foodservice industry.

In addition to working with TriMark, DeLuca’s resume includes time with Mid-Tex Sales and Service in Austin, Texas, which was acquired by ISI, now a TriMark company. “He was one of the kindest men I’ve ever had the honor of knowing. He will definitely be missed and the world is a lesser place without him,” says John Krenek, former owner of Mid-Tex.

“Jim was such a great guy to work with,” says former colleague Dan Savarino. “I never met anyone that was always so positive about everything and he had such a consistent, great demeanor. They just don’t make them like Jim anymore, what a guy.”

DeLuca is survived by his wife Maury, sister Diane and many other family members.
