Component Hardware Group will open a new distribution center in Columbus, Ohio, effective Sept. 1, 2021. In addition, CHG plans to move its corporate headquarters to Matawan, N.J.

For the previous 40 years, CHG’s distribution center operated from its Lakewood, N.J., headquarters. In addition to placing its distribution center in a more central U.S. location, the Columbus facility will provide CHG with additional warehouse space.

CHG’s Lakewood and Columbus distribution centers will run parallel, and the company will continue to ship products from both locations for the foreseeable future. Additionally, CHG’s distribution facilities in Dallas and Fullerton, Calif., will remain operational. CHG’s global locations in Europe, Canada and Asia will continue to serve customers as usual, per a company release.
