Robert Nelson will become CEO for the National Association of College & University Food Services, effective April 12.
He replaces Chris Waterson, who served as NACUFS CEO on an interim basis. Waterson will continue in his capacity as NACUFS chief financial officer.
Nelson joins NACUFS after serving as president and founder of Nelson Strategic Consulting for the past seven years. His background also includes serving as president and CEO of the National Coffee Association and as senior director of government affairs for the Florida Restaurant Association.
