Former Domino’s executive Tom Curtis will become chief operating officer for Burger King, effective sometime in May.

In this new role, Curtis becomes responsible for field operations, restaurant development and restaurant operations. He began his Domino’s career in 1985 as a restaurant manager and eventually joined the corporate team in 2006.

Curtis spent 35 years with the Michigan-based pizza chain before making this move to Burger King. During his time at Domino’s Curtis held a variety of leadership positions, including executive vice president U.S. operations and support.
