CFS Brands has acquired AyrKing, a manufacturer of food preparation equipment and related accessories.

Based in Louisville, Ky., AyrKing’s product line includes automated breading, blending/sifting and commercial marinating equipment. The company’s products are commonly used in the quick-service restaurant segment.

AyrKing will function as a stand-alone entity within CFS. Jim Bell, president of AyrKing, will continue to lead the company now that it’s a part of CFS Brands.

Oklahoma City-based CFS Brands other companies include Carlisle FoodService Products, Dinex, El Castor, Jofel, Piper, San Jamar, Snap Drape and Sparta.
