What started out as a ghost kitchen concept has broken through its shell to become The Hatchery, a fast-casual chicken concept.
“After opening up The Hatchery ghost kitchen and finding ways to improve the model and experience for our customers, we’re ready to enter this new segment and look forward to what’s ahead for this great new brand,” says The Hatchery CEO Chris Elliott.
The brainchild of FSC Franchise Co., parent company of casual dining chain Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, the first location measures 2,400 square feet, featuring counter service, a digital ordering kiosk and seating for up to 72 guests in Tampa, Fla. With a name like The Hatchery, the menu naturally focuses on chicken items, including sandwiches, tenders, wings and salads, served with a variety of dipping sauces.
The fast-casual concept with an emphasis on to-go service plans to open its second location in 2021 with franchise opportunities becoming available in the next six to nine months. The brand also intends to explore the possibility of expanding future models to 2,600 square feet with drive-thru.
