Shaun Tanner will assume the role of president and chief executive officer for Winston Industries, effective July 1, 2020. He will replace Valerie Shelton, who will retire in December 2020.
Winston Foodservice and Winston Manufacturing. Tanner was elected to Winston’s Board of Directors in 2015, and soon after was promoted to general manager of the Foodservice Division.
An 18-year company veteran, Tanner serves as the company’s chief sales officer, overseeing two of Winston’s three divisions:Shelton will move to an advisory role in July and maintain a position on Winston’s Board of Directors, in retirement. She has served 11 years as Winston’s president and CEO. Shelton has spent a total of 38 years with the company.
During her tenure with the company, Shelton has diversified Winston beyond foodservice equipment. She led the creation of the Win2uit Electronics Division and the Winston Contract Manufacturing Division, per a company release.
