Tim Hortons promoted Axel Schwan to regional president for Canada and the U.S.

Eight years ago, Schwan joined Tim Hortons’ parent company,RBI, as marketing director in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He later became vice president of marketing and communication in Europe before advancing to the role of global chief marketing officer (CMO) for Burger King, another RBI concept. Schwan became Tim Hortons’ global CMO in 2017.

Tim Hortons has more than 4,800 system-wide restaurants located in Canada, the United States and around the world. Earlier this year, the Canadian donut chain opened Tim Hortons 130 King, the company’s first-ever innovation café, which resides on the first floor of the office building that houses the operator’s corporate headquarters.
