Moe’s Southwest Grill introduced Jason Gronlund as the restaurant chain’s executive chef.
A restaurant industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience, Gronlund becomes responsible for leading the development and execution of culinary strategies, as well as driving innovation for Moe’s new and existing menu items.
His experience with Southwest and Latin flavors includes previously serving as director of ingredient sales and culinary services at Tobasco. He also served as culinary director at Hard Rock Café, leading recipe development for the concept’s 178 restaurants around the world. Gronlund, who also led culinary efforts at Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill, has experience in budget management, product rollout, training and purchasing.
