Powerhouse Dynamics Inc. has been acquired by The Middleby Corporation.
Based in Newton, Mass., Powerhouse Dynamics offers cloud-based IoT solutions for the foodservice industry. The company will operate as its own business unit under the Middleby umbrella, according to release announcing the news.
This marks the second recent acquisition for Middleby, following Middleby’s purchase of Standex International Corp.’s Cooking Solutions Group in February.
