As part of its 2018 awards program, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recognized a series of foodservice equipment manufacturers.

The foodservice equipment manufacturers named Energy Star Partner of the Year are Hoshizaki America, ITW Food Equipment Group and Welbilt.

Each of these companies earned recognition in the Partner of the Year — Sustained Excellence category. According to Energy Star, the Sustained Excellence Award recognizes these organizations for “designing and manufacturing high-efficiency products.”

In addition, Energy Star presented True Refrigeration with an Excellence Award in product design for “demonstrating leadership in the design and manufacturing of Energy Star-certified products.”
