Antunes appointed Daniel Schmidt to serve in the newly created role of director of strategic operations for the Carol Stream, Ill.-based foodservice equipment manufacturer. In a related move, Antunes promoted Steve Obermeier to director of sales, Schmidt’s previous position.
Daniel SchmidtAs director of strategic operations, Schmidt will oversee the marketing, product management and supply chain departments — working with internal teams, suppliers and other partners to manage the product life cycle in order to increase the efficiency of operations. He has been with Antunes since 2010.
Steve ObermeierIn his new role, Obermeier becomes responsible for the management of the sales team. Obermeier has more than 30 years in the foodservice industry and joined Antunes earlier this year.
