Canadian foodservice equipment and supplies dealers Russell Food Equipment and Hendrix Hotel & Restaurant Equipment & Supplies have merged. Owned by private equity firm Blue Point Capital Partners, the combined company will go to market as Russell Hendrix Foodservice Equipment.

Hendrix has nine locations nationwide throughout Canada. The combined company will serve a footprint roughly doubling the customer base of each independent company, according to a release announcing the deal. Hendrix’s existing product breadth, reputation, nationwide distribution, diverse customer base, and buying scale are key drivers of the combined company’s business model and consumer network, the release added.
