Dallas-area-based Twin Peaks agreed to sell a majority interest in the 78-unit chain to La Cima Restaurants. The Atlanta-based restaurant management and holding company already holds the title of the largest Twin Peaks franchisee, operating 15 Twin Peaks restaurants in six southern states.
Joe Hummel, COO at La Cima, will become CEO of Twin Peaks following a transition period.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
