Jon Lewis, a longtime member of the college foodservice community has passed away.
Lewis entered the foodservice industry as a manager in 1976 and his career spanned six institutions and four decades. Over the course of his career, Lewis was very active in the National Association of College and University Food Service. He served NACUFS in a variety of capacities, including as its president, and earned many accolades and awards along the way. Earlier this year, NACUFS presented Lewis of Ball State University with its Theodore W. Minah Distinguished Service Award — the association’s highest individual honor.
