Wykes and Romp get new roles with the multiconcept operator.
Ovation Brands, a multiconcept operator, announced several shifts among its management team. Company veteran Richard Wykes was promoted to senior vice president of restaurant operations for the company’s Buffet Division. Ovation Brands also expanded the duties of Chip Romp to vice president of training and operations support for both Buffet and Ryan’s divisions.
Pete Pascuzzi retains the role of senior vice president of restaurant operations for the company’s Ryan’s Division.
Wykes served as Ovations senior vice president of operations services for the past two years and vice president of operations services for the two years prior for Ovation Brands’ Buffets portfolio, which includes Country Buffet, Old Country Buffet and Hometown Buffet. He served as regional vice president from 2008 to 2011.
Romp joined Ovation Brands in 2013 as vice president of training. In his expanded role he will oversee four areas: training, implementation, internal audit and protection and operation services. Previously, Romp was vice president of training, development, and operations services for Fazoli’s Restaurant.
