Wastequip, a North Carolina-based manufacturer of waste and recycling equipment, appointed Steve Henry to the newly created position of chief commercial officer.

In this new role, Henry will partner with current division-based sales teams to build go-to-market strategies. In addition, he will work to enhance channel and customer partnerships, implement an aggressive pricing strategy, increase sales force effectiveness, and build a culture of leadership, empowerment and continuous improvement.

Henry brings more than three decades of leadership experience in the manufacturing industry, previously serving in sales leadership positions with GSI Group, Danaher, Xycom, and Rockwell Automation. In 2007 he wrote the book Just Let ‘Em Sell.
