Burger King veteran to join the multi-concept franchisor in March.

Steve DeSutter will join FOCUS Brands as president and chief executive officer, effective March 17, 2014. Prior to joining FOCUS, DeSutter was the president and CEO of Stripes, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Susser Holdings that operates roughly 620 convenience stores.

Prior to joining Stripes in June 2008, DeSutter served as executive vice president of TurnWorks and before that he held an executive position with Burger King.

Owned by Roark Capital, FOCUS Brands is a multi-concept franchisor of such brands as Carvel, Cinnabon, Schlotzsky's, Moe's Southwest Grill, Auntie Anne's Pretzels, McAlister's Deli and Seattle's Best Coffee.
