Wolfgram to Join Black Angus Leadership Team

Corner Bakery co-founder assumes leadership position for steakhouse chain.

Black Angus Steakhouse, a restaurant chain with 44 locations in 6 western U.S. states, named David Wolfgram its president and chief executive officer, effective Oct. 14, 2013. He replaces Meredith (Merry) Taylor, who will retire while remaining an advisor, board member and equity holder of the company.

A 37-year veteran of the restaurant industry, Wolfgram most recently served as president and chief executive officer of Boudin Bakery and Go Roma Real Easy Italian Kitchen. Prior to Boudin, he served with Brinker International, Inc., as president and chief operating officer of the Corner Bakery Café, which he co-founded along with Maggiano's Little Italy in 1991 while serving with Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises in Chicago.
