Boston Consulting veteran becomes chief development and strategy officer for drive-in chain of restaurants. 

SONIC Drive-In (NASDAQ: SONC) appointed John Budd to the newly created position of chief development and strategy officer. In this role, Budd will oversee franchise sales, real estate and construction – both domestically and internationally.

Budd joins SONIC from Boston Consulting Group, where he served as a partner and managing director. Prior to his work with Boston Consulting Group, Budd held various domestic and international roles of increasing accountability with General Electric.
