Franke Updates Management Team

Campion and Ott get promotions.

Franke Foodservice Systems announced a series of personnel moves, including the promotion of Thomas Campion to the role of president and CEO from president of the company's KES Americas business. Campion replaces Hans Ott, who was promoted to COO of the company's parent, Franke Group of Aarburg, Switzerland.

A 34-year Franke veteran, Ott spent the past 20 years as president and CEO of Franke Foodservice Systems. In his new role, Ott will head a global initiative to foster operations excellence among all Franke divisions.

Campion has 27 years of experience with the company, and has served the last 16 as president of KES Americas, which provides equipment and services to restaurant chains.

Succeeding Campion as president of Franke's KES Americas business unit is Derrick Richardson, who joined the company as vice president-sales and marketing for its Stainless, Inc. subsidiary in 2001. In 2003 Richardson transitioned to Franke and managed a number of strategic initiatives before becoming vice president-operations in 2011.

Franke also expanded the role of Timothy Honeck, executive vice president, to all key account, new product introduction and program management initiatives. Honeck joined Franke in 2000.

Bud Ward will report to Tim Honeck as vice president-sales and marketing. He will provide management leadership for key account product development, direct sales and customer relationships for all Franke KES Americas activity.
