Now, Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG) in New York City has teamed up with fitness chain Equinox and their latest concept Creative Juice, a healthy cafe concept with two locations in Manhattan open to both members and non-members of the gym alike. The eight organic vegetable and fruit juices are cold-pressed using steel machines, which preserve the raw, nutritional benefits of each ingredient. Michael Romano, a James Beard Award-winning chef and director of culinary development for USHG, also incorporates unique ingredients like kohlrabi and sea beans.
