Custom Serving Solutions: Hot and Cold Wells

Hot and cold food wells can be used in either the back or front of the house in cafeteria, buffet and catering applications. While countertop units have an outer shell and are portable, built-in units are fabricated into counters.

The number and type of wells needed will be based on an operation’s volume and menu. Although most often used with non-prepackaged foods, drop-in hot and cold food wells can also accommodate packaged items.

Most cold food wells have compressors underneath, although models are available with remote compressors and condensing systems.
