The Middleby Corporation continues to broaden its portfolio of coffee-related product lines with the purchase of Synesso. Based in Seattle, Synesso designs and manufactures semi-automatic espresso machines for the commercial foodservice market and has $10 million in annual revenue, per a release announcing the deal.

In June, Middleby acquired Ss Brewtech, maker of professional craft brewing and beverage equipment. And in 2018, Middle acquired JoeTap, which manufactures on-demand cold brew and nitro coffee dispensing equipment. Middleby’s coffee portfolio also includes Concordia, which produces automated and self-service coffee and espresso machines.
