Chrane, EMC and The Fischer Group update their line cards while The Zink Corporation makes an acquisition.
Alto-Shaam added EMC Hospitality to its network of independent manufacturers' reps. EMC now represents Alto-Shaam in California and Nevada. These areas also comprise MAFSI regions 22 and 24.
Chrane Foodservice Solutions added American Range to its line card. American Range manufacturers chef-inspired commercial kitchen equipment, including stoves, ovens, fryers, griddles, cheese melters and broilers out of Pacoima, Calif. While Hatco Corporation added American Range to its portfolio of companies in 2022, Chrane will represent the brand independently.
Electrolux Professional Group added The Fischer Group to its rep network. The Fischer Group now represents equipment from Groen, Randell, Power Soak, Avtec, CapKold, Electrolux Professional, UNIC, Crathco and Grindmaster in Nevada and California.
The Zink Corporation inked an agreement to acquire Columbus, Ohio-based based Scotsman Mid-Ohio, a distributor of Scotsman Ice and Kold Draft. The deal is expected to close by April 15, 2023. Scotsman Mid-Ohio serves the commercial ice machine markets in Dayton, Columbus, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. Scotsman Mid-Ohio will continue to operate independently and complement Zink’s current distribution arm, ZCS Distribution. John Weatherwax will continue to lead Scotsman Mid-Ohio.
